Carrot, Pineapple, Orange, Kale and Turmeric
After this morning’s Purple juice, I decided to go Orange. CARROTS! Aside form their many, many health benefits (cancer prevention, heart disease prevention, better skin, better eyes, etc), they are also on the cheap side (as far as fresh organic produce goes) and yield a lot of juice per veggie. So stock up and start adding some carrot juice into your daily. This recipe yields about 25 oz of juice (2 servings).
5 Carrots (nubs chopped off, with greens if you have them)
1 Orange (peeled and quartered)
1/2 small Pineapple (peeled and cut into juice friendly chunks)
5 leaves of Kale
2 tsp of Turmeric Powder (mix into finished juice)
Wash all ingredients well and prep for juicing. Juice all in your Juice Extractor. Stir in Turmeric Powder with a whisk. CLEAN YOUR JUICER AND AREA BEFORE DRINKING. Enjoy!
