Sweet, hot Golden Milk. So good, therapeutic and the perfect thing before sleep time. Don’t wear any white clothes while making this…they will get stained if you get any turmeric on them.

Make Turmeric paste first using 1/4 cup Turmeric Powder and 1/2 cup of filtered/spring water. Stir them slowly on low/medium heat for about 5 minutes until a smooth paste forms. Dont let it get too thick or dry; add more water if needed. Remove from burner and put turmeric paste in a small glass bowl with a cover. Store in fridge for up to 3 weeks. Can be used to stir into Golden Milk or Golden Rice. Or, if you’re courageous, just eat it off the spoon. Suggested serving is 1 tsp per day. Good for joint pain, kidneys, urinary tract and sleep aid.

In a small pot on low/med heat, add 1 cup of your favorite milk and stir in 1 tsp of the Turmeric Paste you made. Add a splash of Almond, Walnut or Sesame Oil and some Agave Nectar (to sweeten). Stir until heated through. Pour into a cup…enjoy!
