About Morgan

Morgan is a nationally certified school psychologist, Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and integrative nutrition health coach based in Bend, OR where she lives with her husband and two young sons. Morgan has always been passionate about working with kids and families, especially those who are struggling.

After graduating college with a dual major in government and psychology from Claremont McKenna College, she ran an educational center in Southern California. She then earned a master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle and began her work in public schools. After working as a school psychologist for over ten years across three districts she felt dismayed by the lack of impact she was able to make, realizing that families’ everyday lifestyle choices are major factors in determining a child’s success and a family’s happiness.

Her frustration led her to expand her knowledge base by becoming a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and completing her health coach training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She uses her training and experience to help families identify lifestyle factors that act as barriers to their children’s and family’s success. With barriers identified, she collaborates with parents to improve nutrition and implement a routine as they transition from the vicious parenting cycle of blame, shame, threats, consequences, punishment, and fear to a parenting approach that is built on connection, understanding, mutual respect, kindness, and firm boundaries and limits.

With a holistic, partnering approach, Morgan works with parents to help children realize their ultimate potential and families find harmony.
